Congratulations Aaron Fritz (pictured) for winning the Harold Paton Memorial (HB) from Tim Lightfoot and Mark Chabowski with a great nett score of 65 in a play off recently.

Congrats also to Bill Heath and Chris Mantell for claiming the Victory Pacific (V.P.) Cup 4BBB v Par with a score of +11 from Greg Bullus and Greg Faulkner with +10. Well played men!

Temporary Local Rule - The newly turfed area defined by a painted white line and white stakes with green tops in front of the 1st Tee is a 'No Play Zone'. Players MUST take relief from the 'No Play Zone' under Rule 16.1a.

Course News

Greens are recovering well following recent additional top dressing following Spring renovations. Light scarifying and top dressing will be conducted on a monthly basis over the growing season to ensure optimal playing surfaces.

Our water supply is beginning to lean out as the flow rate coming down Wynnum Creek is beginning to slow, our current water storage level is sitting at 50-60% (6 megalitres) and it can take upto 790,000 litres to water the course, 560,000 litres to water fairways alone. We have begun to cut back on water consumption to fairways by reducing water irrigation cycles from four times a week to two times a week. Pending weather conditions over the coming days we may need to decrease irrigation cycles to fairways to once per week.
