Now in it's third year, the Paul King Memorial Legends ProAm, and as the partner event to the Bartons BMD ProAm in November, Wynnum Golf Club is proud to again be the Host Venue this Monday 11 August 2025.

The Club Board extends it appreciation to Club Patron Mick Power AM, Mark Beitz of the Bartons Group  and Scott Power of the BMD Group for their event stewardship and support for Wynnum Golf Club.

Alongside ProAm sponsor amateurs, Legends aplenty will take the field for a $40 000 prize purse. The impressive  PGA Draw  is a showcase of great players present and past including 2024 winner, Scott Barr, Peter Senior OAM, Andre Stolz, Peter Lonard, David McKenzie, Jason Norris and our very own Head Professional Matthew King.

Club members are welcome spectators for the Shotgun Start at 11.30am. 

Men's BDGA Pennant

What a great win away last Sunday defeating Virginia GC 11.5 matches to 9.5. Wins to Kerrod Crocker, Alan Cleal, Kyle Flynn, Peter Stone, Ben Cutler, Nathan McNamara, Gavin Moule, Kyle Woodbine, Luke Biddle and Rory Maclean. Come down to the Club this Sunday 10 August to support the team taking on ladder leaders Keperra GC from 7am.

Phone System Upgrade

Members note that next Friday 15 August the Club will be installing a new phone system. While we are excited for the upgrade, there maybe some brief interruptions to the phone lines throughout the day. The office will still be open as usual, and you can always see us in person or via email reception@wynnumgolf.com.au.
